Mrs. Smith received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University in 2007. She taught 5th grade for three years in the Paxton-Buckley-Loda school district, before transitioning to ministry at The Vineyard Church in Urbana. Mrs. Smith worked as a Pastor there in various roles for eight years. Then, she moved back into the classroom in 2021 as a 1st grade teacher for the Mahomet-Seymour school district. This will be Mrs. Smith’s 8th year teaching, and her 1st year at SMART Christian Academy.
