My name is Megan Herrig and I am SO excited to have your child in my class this year! This will be my third year teaching at Smart Christian Academy, and my 12th year teaching overall!
I was born and raised in Champaign and am proud to be a true “townie”! My husband and I live in Savoy with our two little boys. We love to spend our free time at sporting events and participating in all the activities. I am a huge sports lover, but the Packers, Cardinals, and Illini are some of my favorites.
For as long as I can remember, children have been my favorite thing in the whole world. I consider myself extremely blessed that I get to spend my days with your amazing kids, at this amazing school! I can’t wait to see all the big things we accomplish this school year!
Education
I received my BS in Kinesiology from UIUC, MS Degree in Family Services from EIU, and second MS Degree in Education from Aurora University.
